Okay nexians, I need some feedback here.
Last night I drank my second round with this batch of mimosa tea, following several weeks of a strict, all-plant diet. The experience was what I needed, and the preparation had paid off as i had the strength to hold myself upright for the first time throughout the trance (compared to other times where i pretty much get laid out). I had what was possibly the most thorough purge in my experience up to date, being more comfortably aware of my help and guidance from the medicine workers out there in hyperspace than ever before. I felt them clean me slowly, from my toes and fingers, up my limbs, through my veins and towards my gut, like the last bits of toothpaste being pushed out of an old tube. Now mind this was not painful in any way, but the sensations were bizarre. Anyways, after all this had been worked into my gut and i purged it out, I made my way to the bathroom to relieve myself of some more fluids and before leaving i rinsed my mouth out with some water wiped my eyes which had expelled a bit of oily tears, and spit a few times to clear my throat and nose to find that there was a substantial amount of blood in my spit, but not coming out of my nose, or in my vomit bucket. This has happened to me once before, and i feel like it was just part of the deeply thorough work that had been done on my body as nothing else came of it, but I would really like to hear some other opinions.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this before?

At first glance of the title i thought it might have come from your nose, but maybe the all-plant diet had something to do with it? softening, maybe anticipation of the purge?

Let us know if this happens again, and if you've done anything different to make it stop. if it doesn't though (a terrible thought), maybe forcing purge on a regular day to see if this also happens? you did say it was the trip you needed, was it strong? i could see a strong tea giving a much deeper purge. be careful though you might stop to reconsider your route.

I think that perhaps a combination of the acid from the tea and the acid from your stomach probably caused some surface bleeding from capilaries in your throat or stomach which is not a big deal. I wouldn't worry about it unless you see more bleeding on days you're not doing things like that.

all plant diet and massive consumption of non-edible material exacerbating pre-existing ulcers?

Doubtful it from an all plant diet, that doesn't even make any sense. But the pre-existing ulcers could be what is the issue.

No. We evolved on such a diet. Doesnt cause ulcers and shouldnt make them worse.

The color of the blood matters... if it's bright red then its fresh and has been caused by coughing/small tears in your capillaries..probably nothing to worry about... if it's dark red then you may need to see a doctor about it, because it could be internal bleeding of some sort...
