Hello, first post :-)

Very recently I did my first extraction on 400g powdered MHRB. Maybe it wasnt smart to use all of my bark for first time, nevertheless I ended up with plenty of white waxy crystals from warm heptane pulls and a lot more of jungle spice from xylene pulls :-) I havent smoked anything yet.. I am excited and I cant wait, but the time just wasnt right. Now, I need to store it for long period of time. There two options I can think of:

1) As a tinture

The best option for me would be to store it as a tincture. Cant I simply dissolve my spice in NP solvent (acetone), put it in the freezer and leave it as it is ? I never read about anyone storing spice this way, so I am not sure if it wouldnt decompose. I am talking about 1-2 years. I know there is a vinegar tincture, but acetone one would be much better.

1) As a salt

If previous method isnt acceptable, I would most likely store it as a salt.
I dont have access to fumaric acid though. So I have to choose between acids I have access to:

benzoic acid
tartaric acid
citric acid
acetic acid

I know that first two of these acids are solid, but are their salts solid too ? Which one should I use (from transporting point of view) ?

Thank you for your help. Several people already helped me on chat with other problems. I am impressed with this site and its community :-) I never seen so many intelligent and kind people on one forum :-)

Dear Tona,

Definitely choose the salt option for long time storage, you´ll always have a degredation/oxidation of your product when you try to store it as a tincture.
In addition if you have access to a freezer, store your salt in there, so you´ll have a minimum of damage to the precious molecule.

Since you don´t have access to fumaric acid, I can´t help you with the question which kind of acid you should use.
But here is an easy and cheap source for fumaric acid in europe.
