that tek by ron is nothing but guess work. the reagents used are not strong enough reducing agents. other synths are out there that should work. the improved purity of his product seems only to be due to the mini a/b involved.

viewing local gcms posts i donot believe the contam to be oxide. this is far more complex than that.

also, i dont recall every reading that it will form under any conditions present in stb/a/b or drying.
