This may be trivial, but has anyone seen the scene in the Simpsons movie where it looks like an indian woman gives Homer an ayahuasca looking beverage, teaches him throat chanting, and then he proceeds to have a breakthrough-like experience where he learns a lesson of great importance? I just noticed it for the first time last night and was totally stoked!! Very happy

Have you seen this episode of American Dad (season 5 episode 1)... Roger has a really DMT-like experience.

tobecomeone, i guess you are referring to a quite new episode of the simpsons where homer meets the "boob lady" from the movie again, here's the link for it. Also the episode "The Mysterious Voyage of Our Homer" is worth checking out, Johnny Cash is a visiting star in it Smile

Funny, my first experience was reminiscent of the 'space coyote' episode where Homer goes on a vision quest after eating the Guatamalan insanity pepper.

Well theres always the clip where Lisa Simpson trips on happy pills

The Simpsons is loaded with drug references and many of the characters have tripped out quite a bit along the many years of the show. Im gonna try and search for more clips later today when i have more time Smile

Cartoons are certainly taking it to the next level nowadays. Has anyone seen the show 'Adventure Time'? This show was straight up made for tripping, there is so many drug references its beyond funny. In one of the episodes entitled 'The Real You' they even straight out mention DMT, and in another episode one of the houses is clearly a fruiting mushroom cake. The entirety of the show revolves around a single human left in a post-apocalyptic world following the events of a "great mushroom war", this show is just pure awesomeness and I recommend it to everyone.

Sorry for going a little off-topic, couldn't help myself.

Thanks for recommending Adventure Time! Definitely have to check that out.

One of my favorite little cut-to-scenes from Family Guy, it's Stewie at a Grateful Dead concert Laughing

Ha, i see you were faster than me DoingKermit. I once thought of writing up a small book that would include all The Simpsons drug references, trips etc. but when I started doing it I came to a conclusion that I couldnt possibly get everything down since there is a shitload of episodes to watch through (although i've seen EVERY episode atleast 5 times, including all the Tracy Ullman shorts, dvd-extras, commercials and even the 00 episode of seventh season etc.) And no, Im not obsessed ;D
