I found some similar info back when I first started researching DMT. Back in '08 I even wrote a question to erowid asking them to add the part about
Acacai berlandieri containing mescaline and other chemicals, they then did add it to the 'Acacia Bits & Pieces' section.
I was thinking of growing some
Acacai berlandieri just for this reason.
And here's a couple studies that I have attached. I will also quote my favorite part, which peaked my interest on the subject:
"All leaf samples contained phenethylamine, N-methyl-
β-phenethylamine, tyramine and hordenine. These compounds were found in concentrations ranging from <100 to >5,000 ppm, depending on plant species and season of collection. Concentrations were always higher in leaves collected in the fall. The alkaloid fractions (those extractable with 10% HCL) of A.berlandieri and A. rigidula contained a complex mixture of alkaloids including nicotine, nornicotine, anhalamine, mescaline, and 3,4,5-trihydroxy-phenethylamine(demethylated mescaline)."
They only list chemicals/alkaloids in ppm, so I don't know how much this would correlate to
% wise. I don't think it would be a good source for extractions, but then again sheep & goats get messed up from eating it, so I really don't know. Maybe someone with more knowledge could tell us if it would indeed be worth it or not.
“Surrender is inner acceptance of what is without any reservations. If you have lived long enough, you will know that things “go wrong” quite often. It is precisely at those times that surrender needs to be practiced if you want to eliminate pain and sorrow from your life.”
