First of all, I would highly recommend getting a scale. The density of a particular batch of DMT can vary due to things like plant oils and waxes getting stuck in the crystals, to the method of crystallization. There is no way to say based on volume how much DMT you have before you.
Second of all, while some find the "spice sandwich" method to be effective, I have never found it to work at all, not even a little bit. If you are looking to conserve money, the Machine is a great way to go. You can read about it in the handbook found in the wiki. If you do have some money to shell out, go ahead and get a Glass Vapor Genie, essentially considered to be the Rolls Royce of spice delivery on this forum. I would not try the test tube method at all, as almost everyone I have talked to that has tried it has had no luck whatsoever.
