Maybe a Praise and Critique subsection of DMT-Nexus. I feel that the 'suggestions' subforum is always a little.. how shall I say, limiting? Sometimes, like in that case, a topic should be approached in a critical / analytical / negotiable / positive / honest kind of group discussion before a 'suggestion' has gathered all of the materials it requires to fruit properly. Plus, it would be cool if there was just a section for people to vent or express what they think of the Nexus. xP I think we'd really be able to learn a lot more about this place if we could see what it was like through the eyes of both the elders, the acolytes, and even, hopefully, the rubes.

I think there was a good reason for not having a venting section in the nexus. I think the argument went something like: those kind of sub-sections bring out only the worst in ppl and despite the theory, they don't help anyone nor do they, on the whole, offer constructive criticism which could be used for progressing the nexus.

I'm not sure if we really need another subforum/-section for what you propose. Maybe a simple name change (to include vague ideas) of this section would suffice?

To be honest I only want a place where I can read about heaps of different peoples thoughts on this place, but I guess that kind of requires lots of people wanting to do that Hahahaha.

I had the idea because of Pandora's recent meta discussion on harm reduction. But yeah, good point XD

People's thoughts and feelings make up the Nexus. They are reflected in the posts and threads. I agree with Enoon, another sub-forum for reflection on the site itself is not needed.
In fact, IMO, a trend away from this would be beneficial - folks discussing ideas and techniques, sharing stories and offering support focused on DMT experiences, not on the experience of posting.

... I love posting.. the nexus is as much part of my entheogenic work as taking the entheogens themselves... so I don't mind the idea of meta-threads. Also it's about community, which we are here, so I think these discussions are highly valuable.

I guess the only thing I'd be worried about is an actual system, I'd prefer meta conversation / discussion were thought of as a 'conscious attempt to be open', rather than a 'system of thinking' which in my opinion is closed, meaning it would need to be readjusted in the long term: unnecessary effort.

Adding another one would also mean more subfora on the front. And the place where this thread is actually made is a pretty good place to discuss the things Another Rube wrote in the OP.
