TheFly purchased some caapi and after the purchase realized i should have emailed to them first to see if it was legit, I ask them if they had any brewing instructions as guide(although i've studied this proccess front and back it was just a question of is this the real thing?) anyways they replyed saying that they are offering Caapi vines as an "Herbarium specimen" or "exotic incense only". Does this mean there are no alkaloids for brewing?

I think it means they are selling it under the banner of "incense" to protect there legal standing.
If they are selling vine... then your getting vine.

Thats what i thought, but was not sure if maybe they sold it as an insence and possibly preheated it or fermented it in some way to be an incense. Thanks for the quick reply!
