I am going to use 420g of B. Caapi and 60g of Chaliponga to make 4 moderately strong doses of ayahuasca.

I have never done this before, so I would like your tips.

My options so far are these:

>>Crockpot (3 times 8 hours each) vs Stove (3 times 3 hours each)
ballpark amount of water used in each extraction?

>>add 1 tbsp of white distilled vinegar per liter
vs
use just water

combine 3 "extractions"

boil until enough has evaporated to be able to drink a full dose and keep it down...
(how much would this be, given the amounts of the substances I will be using?)

edit: I have the full vines and whole leaves... if I crush them down as much as possible, would that make the vinegar unnecessary?

From what ive read, that could provide many more than 4 doses depending on the potency. I haven't tried it myself, but I think some 2nd opinions may be helpful. From what i've seen, potent caapi and chali will give you many more than 4 doses.

First, allow me to say that doses of caapi for an initial aya experience should be around 50g if you want to test the waters of what a decent to moderately strong dose of caapi can do. Additionally, I would suggest you not go above 8 grams of chaliponga as an admixture per 50g of caapi...due to the 5-meo-dmt content of chali, it can be a surprisingly potent experience. I would say you've got ~7 moderately strong doses within that amount of plant material (potentially you could brew 8 doses and have 4 doses and 4 "booster" doses, but 100g caapi + 15g chaliponga will be INTENSE, to say the absolute least). Each dose for the 7-8 doses should be simmered down to ~1.5 oz.

As far as boiling, I would use The Herbal Percolator, or THP, (a personal preference) for the caapi and 3 x 30minute boils for the chaliponga.

I would suggest you use vinegar for both extractions due to this test I did a while back.

What makes you like the THP method in comparison to the other method SnozzleBerry?

A combination of the fact that reports from the Ayahuasca forums claimed/verified that it's a more efficient method than standard boiling, the fact that you can see the color increase in vibrancy from the first pulls to the middle pulls and decrease in vibrancy from the middle pulls to the last pulls (i.e. you get visual indicators of the exhaustion of your vine alks), and the fact that my acid/nonacid brew experiment showed that following my normal THP extraction technique, there's very few alkaloids remaining in the vine when I'm done percolating.
