Okay, so not sure if this happens to anyone else, but I will relate it the best I can. Every now and again, I'll have a failed breakthrough...for whatever reason it may be, bad timing, not enough concentration, half-assed inhalation from fear, etc....Well, on a few different accounts I've decided to re-dose right afterwards, and this is where things get strange.

It seems to me as if the first breakthrough is SOLID, filtered well from energies that do not belong in the sacred, spiritual journey that our spice takes us on...It is OUR journey the first time, filled with lessons and experience for US...Well, most of the times I take a second try within 10 minutes of the first, it seems that the "spiritual filter" is much weaker than the first launch, allowing "alienish entities" to intercept the experience and document it/whatever they do...Every time, the second launch has an alien, void-of-spirit vibe to it...does anyone else experience this on a constant basis? Shocked

That much is obvious, man...Somehow though, and not to be rude, this was one of the generally crappier answers I could have gotten. Its pretty obvious in general knowledge that Dmt does a LOT of interesting things, but there are complexities within the consciousness that it turns inside out that literally creates the life I live....my mind creates physical realtiies, and I have received detailed lessons on how this comes to be...These alterations in vibration, as well as brain-chemical change, they do a lot more than make me "feel" and "think"...I don't know if I misunderstood your tone or not, but I think you could be a bit more open-minded regarding where this molecule takes us...

What this sounds like to me is that when you double dose, or push the envelope further, you're so far from the shores of your ego that the experience gets seemingly "hijacked" by an alien otherness. There's much debate of course whether these entities are actually an "other" or just a more alienated manifestation of our psyche (or the collective psyche). It would make sense to me that after stretching your filter a few times you're opening the experience up to entire pantheons of new manifestations of spirt, or intelligence, or whatever you want to call it.

Thinking about psychedelic experiences in general, to the extent that journey feels connected to a personal sense of meaning I think is a reliable marker that while you are out exploring the waters, you're still in site of the shoreline. When that is lost and it suddenly feels you are caught up the agenda of some other intelligence, well, now you're heading out into uncharted waters.

As for what's out there or why, well, that's why we're all here I suppose.

I've experienced this twice with just the spice (smoking it in a similar manner as you've described), but the most intense experience I had with this was when I ate 5 grams of shrooms, then smoked spice midway through the trip. This actually resulted in a short (35 minute) psychotic break.

When SWIM would breakthrough on straight spice, she usually wouldn't be able to catch the carrier wave a second time in a row for quite some time. It wasn't a tolerance issue, as she could smoke more and trip harder and harder, but no legitimate breakthrough.

Doesn't happen with changa, to her.
