I noticed, that even a tiny tiny bit of resin, like, say 30mg can provoke subtle changes and anti-depressant and anti-anxiety effects. Anyone tried taking resin over a long time as a supplement ?

I used to eat it every day. I don't think consuming it every day is good for you. It didn't feel good after a while. I have nothing to back my claims, just feelings within me. Do what you feel is right, Obliguhl.

I haven't taken resin before, but I do take one ~800mg capsule of cactus powder every morning exactly for those reasons. I've been doing it for a little over a year now with no negative side effects. I recently quit smoking weed, so my anxiety level is back up a little, And I think the cactus is helping a lot with keeping it in check.

it is nice and a has a very useful anmti-depressant glow to it, but I feel personally that mescaline(or at least the cacti) isnt good for me to dose often. I feel it to be taxing on the system and while the afterglow is amazing, I also feel burned out afterwords. Mescaline is amazing but for me personally I cant use it that way. I do feel its use is benificual though..it feels like a true tonic for my system, just not when I use it too often. There have been studies done on members of the native american church who use peyote regularily(not daily though I dont think) and they found only positive side effects I think.

Ayahuasca though I have been using daily for a few weeks now, sometimes 2 times a day. These are caapi only brews anywhere from a 1g microdose to like 20 or 40g..and then I usually drink a full dose with mimosa weekly as well..I dont feel any negative effects or get burned out feelings afterwords, ever. I feel more full of life and energy. It is a great antidepressant, not that I really feel depressed though. Ayahuasca is the only thing I can use this way, which makes me just want to focus on it even more. Mushrooms and cacti while amazing and great healers, both make me feel drained afterwords as well. I basically just lay there all tired the next day. I hate to say it, but even vaped DMT, to a lesser degree can make feel somewhat tired after sometimes compared to taking it orally in ayahuasca, I dont know why that is.
Long live the unwoke.

I've used crude cactus extract daily for about 2 months. I felt great most of the day, We are talking 35-70mg of crude acetate/carbonate sticky dark blood maroon w/a "blue" or purple to it. from peruvians and pachoi. This wasn't resin, but "full-spectrum." I thought it was a great mood lifter, antidepressant. Kept the doses at threshold levels, and developed little tolerance. I wouldn't normally use a capsule, it was dissolved in coffee or just eaten. Anything more than 70mg was too "trippy" for work.Laughing

I've tried "daily use" with many substances. Use for about 2-3 months and move on, kept the good ones and ignore the bad. This was a very good time in my life. I was in the moment and happy, family, coworkers and friends didn't notice a "drug-induced" state. But, they did notice a "joy" that I exuded. Makes me want to start up again, just talking about it. I tend to be pessimistic and low doses of psychedelics, especially mescaline is nice.

Hi obliguhl,

What size would a 30mg piece of your resin be? It seems to me like this must be extremely small. Because that obviously isn't going to be even 30mg of mescaline. After eating 20g of resin I noticed nothing other than one or two bouts of intense laughing and that was it. But I'll have to experiment with a very small dose and see if I can notice any mood changes.
