very nice cumulative list... i have found with good bulk valerian (was very resinous almost sticky) that my normal dose 1000-1200 mgs to be quite stony and right before sleep youd feel very lethargic and heavy ... so it could be considered psychoactive

i have to ask why syrian rue is not considered a entheogen but caapi vine is...
rue can be very psychedelic by it self this is commonly known

I only plan on adding "safe and effective" botanicals... now those terms are relative and sections like the "Banefuls" obviously excludes that.... but for the most part I only want safe and effective botanicals.

Ethnobotanicals like Coleus have not been proven to be very effective.

with my experience I would classify it more as a dream herb. I have read a report where someone ate it where it grows in the wild and the plants were very large and old and that was the best report I read of it.

Did Wasson explicitly say that it must be botanical based ? Or where did you get that from...

Can plants in this list be used in a pleasant manner with correct preparation? I've heard nothing but bad things about datura (jimson weed?) but have always been curious about its effects.

I'll go into who created the words a bit later... do y'all all agree with the definitions presented? Is there anything you would change? Anything you disagree with?

I am only adding "safe and effective" botanicals to the first list... however Datura is under the "Banefuls". I would not use it, it is very dangerous.

The use of Coleus blumei and Coleus pumila for a long time by the Mazatecs are not good enough proof for you? I remember you stating in another thread that the way the Mazatecs ingest Salvia is the only way it should be done, thus it would seem appropriate to show them the same respect when it comes to Coleus. In fact, Coleus are used the exact same way as Salvia. The Mazatecs regard it as weaker (it is only used when Salvia is not to be found), but able to induce the same effects as Salvia.

How does one go about preparing and administering Argemone mexicana ~ "Prickly Poppy"? Because as I've read, they have some really bad things in them that you do not want to take.

Eschscholzia californica - California poppy (herb) - anxiolytic/euphoriant/sedative

"Coleus" - Solenostemon scutellaroides - definitely does something... easily grown as a houseplant, can even be purchased ready grown, very pretty foliage too.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. Thank you so much for this, This is a must have!
Understand: Nature knows no EVIL, Nature knows no GOOD, people know these things, because we perceive these things, with the gift of senses given to us at birth. A good or bad experience is simply a bridge to a another existential time frame, so always live in the moment and make every one a positive moment!

Any and all posts or interactions are to be held as my fictional writings/short stories or dreams. I may even have some delirium setting in, I've never been tested for it. The only exception to this is the statement about nature above, I feel this is a fact!
