i used nomans stb and got a ph of 12.65 i did 180 grams mhrb and ive only got 3/4g back after recrystal and several pulls....8-9 also evapped my solvent and recrystalled that too but im thinkin i could or should be getting more back. any ideas anyone? also my bark has been sitting for a week str8 in the solution

man, basically nobody gets a 2% yield, most people get half or even a quarter of that! be happy!

how much lye did you use?

and did you heat up the solvent and lye/mimosa mix while you pulled? 130degreesF is as hot as you want to go...but heating is very important

nope no heat can i do that i have a 4 litre jug of this crap ill have to check if i have something big enough and do i heat the whole time while separating?

.75 for 180g is not so good but its not horribly bad either

was the bark finely powdered? if not, that could be one of the reasons..

the last pulls should be with hot solvent. (hot water bath on some solvent and then throw it in.. or one can even do a hot water bath on the whole jug but I dont think its necessary)

well i did a small test batch with 50 g and got back .5 of white crystals when i did the 180g i did the exact same thing as before but with way different results. the last pulls with hot solvent doesnt make sense to me though coz when you put hot solvent in, it cools in the bark mix.... leaving you with once again cool solvent any extra dmt the hot solvent would carry you would think should drop out when the solvent cools

just do a hot water bath...it will help a lot...

no that shouldnt do anything...SWIM has had stuff sitting for months AFTER doing the extraction but left the solvent on top...and then decided to get it cleaned up..so he poured off the solvent and was able to get a nice chunk(1.5g) from it...nice crystals...slightly yellow..but he hasnt rextalized yet

Did your friend recover as much solvent as he put in?
Sometimes STB teks require extra water - 50 to 100 percent more - for the bark/caustic/naptha mix to separate fully.

Sorry lads but this tek performed just with naphta is rubbish.The spice from naphta is very plain. ILPT did STB with leftover bark from A/B with DCM. MASSIVE PAIN IN THE ARSE, pals. you got emulsions to filter of and undissolved part of bark like to suck your dcm spice. But very powerful spice was recovered, after all this arsing. Jungle compound adding the lovely loop-iness to the DMT enlightenment it`s shame to avoid extraction of jungle. Toluene or other on water floating solvent(lovely Et2O )would definitely become more handy And you can start pull easily from ph 10-11

i freeze precipped overnight the naptha went milky colored after the first hour but this morning theres notta, dang this sucks donkey balls...... oh well will keep trying

If you are using massive amounts of naphtha you will need to evap some of it. I usually only freeze precip when i have 100-200mL naphtha.

I never really liked the STB's too much waste (lye, naphtha)

ya this is my first extract and nomans seemed to be the easiest to follow, and quickest. i didnt want to do an a/b coz all the teks i read involved weeks to make it. but i guess it doesnt matter coz im into my 2nd or 3rd week messin with this 228 g's of bark with stb
