Thomas Tallis - Spem in Alium

This was composed in the mid 1550s and is solely vocal and just exudes masjesty and wonder. I heard this on the radio recently where the guest described it as being drowned in sound. I completely see where they are coming from on this. This must be awesome performed live.
The trees spoke to me through the wind. The more I listened, the more they spoke.

Excellent piece! Would love to see this in a church, they often have wonderful acoustics.
