Well im not familiar with the tek youre going to be using, id wait for someone else to reply, but If i were you i'd consider preparing some changa to get comfortable with the spice. You dont need a certain pipe to vape changa, you can actually even smoke it in a joint your first time. As for the spice, vaping is recommended but you dont HAVE to vape it. Just sandwich it between herbs(not mj) in a water bong or pipe. And as for what 30 mgs looks like.....heres some advice..
DO NOT TRY TO EYEBALL YOUR SPICE! It can be very overwhelming if youre not sure what youre actually smoking. So if i were you, i'd invest in a 0.001 scale! I wish you luck in your ventures!

You can de-oil it if you so desire, with A/B, or you can re-crystallize it after S/B. Read through FAQ and wiki. There are many ways to do extraction. SWIM would recommend starting with 15mg to 20mg if you are going the vape route. There seems to be a line from threshold, to break through with cognizance, to break through with little recall. Most nexians will tell you to take it slow, it would be prudent to heed the advice. Spice is unlike shrooms, you will realize this once you get there; there is a lot more information IMHO. Enjoy the journey and approach it with mucho respect, and patience.
