This may be a stupid question but i'll ask it anyway.

Dmt has quite a low vaporising point so i was wondering how dmt is affected by re-x'ing dmt?
Boiling naptha or heptane you would think would degrade the dmt due to high temperatures.

If it doesn't affect the dmt can someone tell me why it doesn't?

Thanks nexians.

Please do not boil your NP solvents, this is unnecessary and dangerous.
Instead, use a hot water bath. Spice dissolves fine in warm heptane or naphtha, and can be either freeze pricip'ed or evap'ed.
The solvents are never hot enough to vape the product.
She finds patient mixing with a glass eye-dropper works perfectly.

I always use warm-hot solvents on my pulls. Heptane or ether are my preferences (although it is much more difficult to use warm ether as it evaporates so rapidly). Typically I use a pyrex beaker heated on a candle warmer/coffee mug warmer to warm my solvents. Stove elements are discouraged in that they can produce flames. Anyways, just an O.G.'s 2c.

DMT is not affected by hot naphtha.

Why not? Because it doesnt have any chemical instability that could cause a problem under those conditions.

Also notice that DMT's vaporization point is over 100c according to tests several people have done on this forum (and shulgin himself mentioned the quoted 60c in literature is wrong). So if the naphtha is heated in hot water bath, the temperature will always be low enough so that there is no risk of any of it being vaporized (and obviously you shouldnt be heating your naphtha some other way like in open fire)
