I would say My purpose in life is to simply 'experience' But self improvement and searching for answers in this ridiculously convoluted conundrum we call consciousness is probably what I'm all about.

why do I live?
to experience and potentiate
the infinite divinity in every eddy of existence.
I pursue complete permeation in the this, always this.
we are the fractal of the now.
we are drops in the river of unending delight.

I am here (because my soul has made a pact with the physical earth)
to see everything and hide from nothing
to make my way into the company of those who dine in palaces
and to be taken into small homes of wood and straw
I breathe to breathe it all in
The danger of the night and the calm breeze of the day
I hunger to chase it all, and to be bold enough to live up to what I believe
Mostly I am alive to experience, and so paint my story with my ways, drawing strange faces from common and uncommon conversation, surrounding myself with folly and beauty and inevitable pain
My ego is insane, but I'm alright

The path of excess leads to the palace of wisdom. -William Blake

Lavos is a fictional character, a dream inside a dream. Don't take what he says to be true or representational of reality in any known form. He is inspired by pure fantasy.

Experiencing, discovering, bewildering, life through the looking glass. Where am I?
Why do I use entheogens? Well naturally I am a curious being and like any other human enjoy contemplating the vast infinite universe and life ever after. Human beings are boring.
Hey we both exist don't we? Why not

I liked the travellers one "Self Enhancement".. but I guess my thing is about making an impact in the world, I want to change the world for the better, I would it to be big but just in a small way would be nice... I would like to be in an encyclopaedia for something and I believe in self sacrifice to make a difference. I would've said music, but music to me is just default, it's just something that just is, not something I live for.

I was born to party.

Say Chronic,

Can I present my 'thing' and primary reason for existing on three levels? I'm not trying to be cute or anything but there are three primary levels to myself and they all have unique motivations and their own favorite 'things'. OK to bend the rules a little???

Now, I have to pick just one 'thing', it would be Enlightenment/Self Realization If I get the levels deal?

My physical body's thing is: Yoga, Tai Chi Chuan, running, hiking, swimming, snowshoeing, Frisbee, fencing and swordsmanship...

My ego/mind's thing is: reading, drawing, painting, sculpting, jewelry-making, playing the flute/guitar/hand drums, gemstones and gardening...

My soul/spirit's thing is: Advaita, meditation, contemplation, psychedelics, self inquiry and transcendental experiences...

There is no self to which I cling, for I am one with everything.
