SWIM use only 25g of powdered root to avoid waste if some thing goes wrong.
The extraction cycle had made with kerosene, 3 times of 150ml each. The layers are very immiscible, you can shake strongly.


The fist shake&dive takes 2 hour
Second was left 6 hour. Third, one night.

If you have easy access to true naphtha don't use kerosene. It's cheap, but you'll need a hell to evaporate it.
