I'm currently in Central America. On the land that I'm on, we have plenty of Acacia cornigera growing wild. A friend here says it contains DMT and that she has some changa made from the root of the Cornigera. She had no more information to offer me.. After some research I can't find any substantial information on this plant. Can't find anything on what alkaloids it might contain.. Would love to know if I can use it somehow.

Does anyone know anything about this Acacia?

Hello and welcome to the DMT-Nexus! Rätsch mentions Acacia cornigera as being psychoactive in his 'The encyclopedia of psychoactive plants'. Other than that, I can't seem to find any information on it, sorry. I would assume a DMT content no higher than 0.5% (perhaps much lower), as seen with the other Acacias. I would also assume other tryptamines to be present.

It may be worthwhile to do an extraction on the phyllodes or the bark. If you choose the root bark, please make sure you only cut roots not vital to the tree, as there's no reason to kill a tree to harvest spice. Should you attempt an extraction, please post your results here, as it in the future will do great help anyone else in your position! Smile

Alright, at least now I feel that it is worth the time to try it.
Might attempt to extract, next thing is to figure out what tek I should use as I will have a hard time getting any fancy products where I am.. The new water tek might be calling Smile

Please harvest them ethically. These are an ecological diamond...especially because they are psychoactive. Symbioses are where its at. You are the result of a symbiosis.
