Okay guys and gals, hear me out. There is an exercise from somewhere (forget where, but not me), in which a person starts a story, then someone else takes over the story. Each person contributes a little bit, then another person contributes, then another; each progressing the story further.
I was riding in my car and found myself wondering "What would happen if you tried this exercise in a hardcore psychedelic drug forum? Where would the story go? What type of wackiness would ensue? How far-out would it get?" I don't know, but I would like to find out.
That is what this thread is for; writing a collective story. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to contribute. If you are under the influence of psychedelics, all the better.

It's all fair game. You can create new characters, kill existing characters, develop characters, develop plot, be funny, be sad, be angry, be stupid, whatever you want to do, or wherever you want the story to go next. You can contribute multiple times if you want. You can add a word, a sentence, a page or more. There are no restrictions except: don't f*ck it up.
I don't know where to begin.
How about?:
It was cold outside, a dark, windy evening when......
(now it's your turn Nexus; write your story, one Nexian at a time. This means you!)
EDIT: grammar and punctuation are not an issue. I only care about the creativity.
