DAMN that was powerful. This was some 10 or 15x caapi I made with 50/50 DMT ratio.

I have done aya various times before, I have vaped DMT a few times, and I have done non-concentrated caapi/dmt sandwitch in the bong before once or twice.

I think the non-concentrated DMT/caapi sandwitch in a bong is probably my favorite. I do really love just vaping plain DMT, though it is hard for me to blast off that way (never done it, but got very close).

Anyway the point of this post is to see if my concentrated changa experience is similar to others', or if I did it wrong or something.

Basically I had no idea how much I would need to smoke, so I filled the little cone of my $10 bong. I barely got one big gulp of harsh smoke down and held it for maybe 15 seconds, and I was GONE. Like I was sure I was dying. Of course I've had this with DMT before, but the thing about this experience was that the visuals were totally insane. I didn't get to travel through space as in a typical breakthrough; all I had was, for 4 minutes (time according to a friend), some crazy aliens bouncing around in a cube in my head, which was just barely connected to my body.
After coming back to Earth, I was quite happy to be here, although for another 15 or 30 minutes I was shivering uncontrollably. This is what makes me think I overdosed on the caapi? I've never had the shivers from any other MOA before... it's now maybe T+1hr and I feel pretty normal, maybe one +. Honestly I don't think I'd recommend that anyone do what I just did, even though parts of it were awesome. Did I just smoke too much, or what? Totally confused.

For me the shivers are quite a consistent after effect of any tryptamine I have consumed, unless I'm bundled up in a very warm place.

Harmaloids generally raise my body temperature.

I am a collection of individuals, that are not entirely human. "I" do not exist in reality. Any resemblance to an individual bound by laws is merely coincidental. She has never broken through, is going cautious. But upon landing (standing!) from her few forays, she feels shivery and like shaking, not in a 'I'm chilly' way but is a 'my nervous system is ALIVE!' way. Very happy And she generally follows the feeling, harnessing the energy in a qigong sort of way.
Cool,

The shivering/shaking/convulsing is actually an energetic release/connection, unless it's actually from having the chills. It means that healing is taking place and unconscious energetic connections in the body are being made. This same thing happens with deep meditation, body centered psychotherapy, and breathwork.

I'm just being picky here, but could you give an example of a conscious energetic connection and an unconscious energetic connection is the body?

This terminology confuses me.

and that would be smoking a bowl of changa?Laughing

I too get uncontrolable shivers before/after smoking a few bowls of changa/DMT. I will almost always have my comfort blanky with me everytime I journey.

Yes, I honestly can't say I'd recommend the experience. Instead I think I'd recommend just smoking more of the dmt-caapi sandwitch--it may be less concentrated and a bit harder to breakthrough, but the breakthrough is much more beautiful and pleasant, and no shivers for me. I guess I'd only give the changa to a real hard head. .... then again, perhaps this stuff will make an interesting minor addition to an otherwise extremely mild herbal blend... hmm...

Nevermind, please everyone excuse me for badmouthing the changa! I still have not broken through yet, except for that outrageous OD breakthrough the first time. However, I have been doing lower doses (and even got my mom to try it last night!!!), and it is extremely magical. With a very very small dose (didn't measure, but just a little tiny bit in the cone), it feels just like excellent marijuana, but without the loneliness I get from mj. If I double that amount, although I do not have anything more than fairly mild CEVs in terms of visuals, the FEELING is the most powerful opening up of my God part of the brain (GODPOB) that I have ever experienced while completely conscious. I mean it is insanely strong. God takes over and I shout "OH MY GOD!!!" This lasts about 30 minutes. I am actually afraid to do it again because I am afraid that my GODPOB will not turn off this next time, and then I will certainly become the next Mother Theresa or Jesus or something. I'll expand on this in my religion thread from a while back.

My mom is very anti-drug, has had a horrible mj experience where she freaked out, and so was extremely hesitant to try smoking the changa. But I cajoled and cajoled, assuring her it would be fine and not last long. She had no idea how to use a bong so I had to pull the smoke in for her and then hand it to her for each hit. First let me explain about my mom--She's fine, no real problems except that she's lonely and a bit depressed because of that, ever since my dad died.
Anyway, I saw tears come from her eyes and she told me that she felt the most tremendous burden being lifted from the world (not from her, though she could have transferred it to her), and she saw and felt blue healing energy droplets flooding through her. I wanted her to smoke more so she could experience the GODPOB, but she decided she had had enough at this point (I'm sure she'll try again another time). The reason I really wanted her to open the GODPOB is because she has had GODPOB experiences in her life without drugs, and I really wanted to compare the experience with DMT to that without DMT.

Also, my mom has done meditation with her "psychic" friend before, and she says she has had powerful experiences with that, so she was uncertain of how DMT would be any different. But after her DMT experience (which was nowhere near breakthrough, mind you), she concluded that it was way more profound than any meditation she has done.
