Dont get me wrong, I love On the Corner! I recommend the 'On the Corner' boxset if you dont already own it, excellent stuff to say the least.. That being said, I think 'In a Silent Way' and 'Bitches Brew' are more psychedelic, at least to my ears.. 'On the Corner' is certainly more funky and I love smoking some herb to it! Smile You really can't go wrong with any records from Miles' 'electric' period.. The live stuff from the Filmore east/west shows is pretty mind bending as well. If your into that period Miles, you should check out Herbie Hancock's solo records from 1970 - 1973 as well as Eddie Henderson's - 'Realization' LP.. It's basically Herbie's 'Mwandishi' band (responsible for the Mwandishi, Crossings, and Sextant LPs) under Eddie Henderson's name. Herbie even plays on it! Really excellent music and if you're into Miles' stuff from that period pick it up ASAP! PM me if you can't find it and i can sort you out! Pleased Glad someone else out there is into that stuff! hahaha

i cant count the amount of times i listened to "in a silent way" and "bitches brew" under the influence. John Mclaughlin, herbie, chick corea and miles, you cant go wrong!

Also love john mclaughlin with the The Mahavishnu Orchestra.

paco de lucia - another fav......so many

But i'll definately check out that Eddie Hendersons "realization" ( i'm surprised i dont know of it)

Thanx for the tip Wink

swim really likes spacetime continuum (sea bisquit). He find that when on dmt ambient sounds and music allow him to go further into the dmt realm, sometimes the beat keeps swim a little to grounded and more focussed on the beat, thats just my opinion.

Although the dmt soundscape alone is probably best,as been said before.

to me that song 'plugged in' explains what it feels like in some of SWIM's experiences with alien beings..he has experiences when they tell him its time to go...and he thinks the ascension is about to happen..and he is going to space...and then he wakes up in his house...and is like...DOH! they(the beings) always tell him that we are going to be trans-dimensional immigrants...

and we are the scouts...we are checking the place out before the rest will follow...we are explorers of the new world...we are changing the way people experience the world...just by doing some of these experiments and talking about it...

its about to get crazy...i hope youre readySmile

[quote=magic clown]I once had a very memorable trip accompanied by Motorhead at a very high volume.quote]

That's sweet. It's not something I would trip too, but I do enjoy other stuff sometimes. Like ska on mushrooms.

On mushrooms and acid I really like early Sigur Ros. On DXM I prefer crazy electronic music and tech-metal. Dillinger Escape Plan and Meshuggah

eneyone here ever listen to "The Ozric Tenticals". I was big into them back in the early nineties (psychedelic rock/electronic), they were big in the eighties. Check it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXAaDqPl7oY
Then two of the guys started "Eat Static" probably one of my fav psy trance, check this track out,its pretty sick...

Also, i stumbled upon this composer that started, whats called spectral music back in the 70's.It's also worth checking out. http://www.youtube.com/w...FwY&feature=related (it's very experimental and way ahead of it's time imo)

Been listening to traditional peyote songs, Lau Nau, Islaja, and some other bands like that. Also, Dan Deacon's new song, "Wet Wings" is pretty incredible.

Foaf was smoking his way into hyperspace when 'The Bomb' by New Young Pony Club started playing. Wow, it was goooooood.

Does anyone know where he can legally download MP3 audio of whatever's appropriate for shamanic ceremonial use of ayawaska or peruvian torch?
For torch, no idea what should be going on in the background. For ayawaska, he hears it's just one rattle going on, but he worships alone so he doesn't have anyone to rattle for him! He knows the Daime have free downloads but he's not Christian so that's not for him.
Everything I write is fictional roleplay. Obviously! End tribal genocide: www.survival-international.org Quick petitions for meaningful change: www.avaaz.org/en/
End prohibition: www.leap.cc www.tdpf.org.uk And "Feeling Good" by David D.Burns MD is a very useful book.
