I have no experience with ketamine. The only NMDA-antagonists i'm familiar with are DXM and nitrogenoxide (and iboga, but that's a whole different category of substance). I guess nitro doesn't realy compare with the other typical dissociatives because of it's short duration and quick come-up, so the whole nitro experience is more or less just the short rush.

I find nitrous to only be useful in combination, I don't have a tank so I usually only do a few whippets in quick succession but I imagine that long exposure could go very deep if the dose was right. Has anyone found that to be true? Or is it still just all fun and no spiritual side?

Would all of you experienced with Ket recommend doses that are successively building up to K-Hole over a few days or just jumping in?

In answer to the 2 questions above ^^^, you might find THIS of interest. Let me know what you think!! For me, small doses are very different, but valuable nevertheless...

JBArk
JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

Wow, those are great. I was rethinking my thoughts on nitrous and realized it is valuable because of how quickly it can destroy egos. Returning from that destruction is enlightening but if your ego isn't gone its just euphoria. I was also curious to your opinion on breathing and rebreathing N2O balloons. I found that I get too lightheaded too quickly doing that and have just filled up two or three balloons and hit them one two (three), that way there isn't the energy wasted refilling them.

Would you say you were in the K-Hole with that dose? It sounds like an amazing experience and I always assumed it was more chaotic and nothing-ness than those vivid hallucinations (perhaps because its described as a being schizophrenic, which most definitely sounds negative). I'm very looking forward to that.

PS: What I like the most about your writing is that it seems like more than just a plain experience or writing, the emotion is reflected in the explanations; you manage to go past just showing what you saw, we see what you saw.
