so i want to get a french press to use when processing cacti and roots and vines and such, so i can squeeze the juice out of the goop if you know what im saying...at first i was going for a pyrex one but found it difficult to find one that i was sure had no plastic (in case i want to use a stronger solvent than water etc) then i came across this stainless steel one, though it says it has rubber around the edge of the flter i think rubber is fine right? anyways heres the link, check it out and give me your professional opinions thnkx

The Bodum Coffee Press has an easily removable plastic lid, and all other parts are glass or metal. One advantage is that you can see what’s going on inside.

(This is the one I use for all of my salvia extractions.)

but the question still remains, is it alright for the solvent to come in contact with the rubber?

No dont use coffee press with rubber if you're going to have organic solvents touching it.

Better get one of these glass ones that the press is completely made of stainless steel, and being transparent is a plus:

Sister had also used a bodum, but finds that pouring the whole mess through an old set of nylons (put one leg inside the other) stretched over some kind of recepticle works much much better, and faster.

I originally bought my french press at meijer for 13 bucks, for my gunpowder green tea. since then I have used it to make the best shroom tea iv ever had, as well as prepare lsh, lsa, morning glory, cacti, and many other ethnos. It is a great investment, when you see it work, you will realize all the uses you will have for it as an aspiring psychonaut.

Much peace and love
Everything I say is fictional, I do not support illegal drug use of any kind, SWIM is a fictional character.
