So over the past couple of weeks I've picked up these two trichocereus specimen, both labeled as Pachanoi, from different nurseries. I am a bit confused because they look so different from each other. Can any of you help me correctly id them?

First cactus:

Second cactus:

first one definitely looks like the standard yummy pachanoi
second, I'm not sure? Definitely looks good, though!

seed grown pach/peru? or peruvian pachanoi?--very desirable plant, prolly has lots more potential than the pc

Hey Guys... Thanks for the response. I've started doing some research on the subtle variances in cacti, and I agree with your analysis. I ended up buying another of the second type cacti, presumably a seed sibling. I hope they grow into big girls Smile

Anyway, while I have this thread open I thought I should ask once again for your analysis. I got this cactus cutting from a friend a few months ago... it's currently rooting. The spines were really long before I took them off. I'm thinking this might be the cuzscoensis cactus, but maybe its a torch? What do you think?
