In the course of my experimentation with different herbs and substances, I have come across many that are, well, not exactly what I'm looking for in a plant or substance.

Many of these plants are similarly stubborn for most of the people I talk to about them.
Among them is the famous "wild dagga" (Leonotis lenurus, lion's tail) and (supposedly) more potent "klip dagga" (Leonotis nepetifolia, lion's ear).

I've never used wild dagga, figuring that it would be more sensible to get the "more potent" species with higher amounts of similar constituents. Whatever, it *barely* works- but it works!
To get effects, an entire blunt of lion's ear must be smoked... or most of a pot of lion's ear tea.

I decided the plant was mostly useless,
but due to the very cheap price,
I am left with quite a bit of dry plant matter.

So, perhaps the principle constituents could be extracted and put to better use?
I know that there are resinous extracts out there, but I mean like pure alkaloid extraction.

Or, how can I make my own resinous extract?
Would I follow the basic "infusion simmered down to a paste" method? Or is there a better way?

i took 4 fat bankies (fat ziplocs)(every 5th plant here is leonotis - i live in their zone) of flowers, worked out an extraction for it - then extracted the most beautifull ball of hash from it.
it was orangy transparent -soft as nice hash, and lovely smelling.
a friend and i smoked it - and agreed - it tasted wonderfull.
thats about it tho.

IT IS ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT WE ARE WILLING TO EXPOSE OURSELVES OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO ANNIHILATION THAT WE DISCOVER THAT PART OF OURSELVES THAT IS INDESTRUCTIBLE.

Are there studies of the effects of pure leonurine? or one of the other (supposedly) psychoactive leonurine-like alkaloids?

Or can we finally relegate this plant to the realm of snake oil and substrate for actual psychoactive substances? Because the "effects" that I got could have simply been wishful thinking on my part, or a perceived amplification of the effects of whatever chemicals are already in my system due to me ingesting something that may or may not have been pychoactive.

Well, I can say that I still have a use for it- I can still put some of the synthetic cannabinoid receptor agonists I have laying around on it and make my own spicer spice to sell the kids...

...Uhh im not sure if that was a joke or if you are serious..but there is NO talk at all in relation to selling drugs..not to mention the immoral act of misleading another human in relation to what substance they might be putting into they're body..The nexus does not support this type of activity.

Even if you are kidding, you must think about how that might look to certain people who come here completely ignorant about the reality of DMT, psychedelics, psychedelic users in general and the nexus..it makes us look bad..especially to concerned parents/narcotics officers etc...
Long live the unwoke.

Oh, I forgot that this website decided to call DMT spice.

In most places round "spice" is like the brandname "spice"... as in "not-for-human-consumption-herbal-incense".

Also, I apologize, as each webforum's acceptable level of bullshitting is different. Thought I was back on dextroverse.
