not sure if this topic has had its own thread dedicated to it yet. I noticed that prior to launch i like to play some trippy music, but lately i've found the music to be more distracting than anything else and found that no music seems to promote better attention (and i'm learning your raw unadulterated attention is the key to a intense experience). Well as i began to launch i quick snatched up the remote to turn down the music as it was annoying me...as the music turned off i remember clearly hearing a music still playing, but it wasnt coming from the player. there was a define music inherient and intertwined with the DMT experience, but honeslty i pay little attention to it as i'm primarily focused on the visual aspect. I also dont remember much about the music as i'm so focused on trying to bring back the visual parts to my memory when i'm baseline. So again other than the buzzing and metallic crinkling noises, i remember a strange melody being played in my ears and I think i hear this everytime i enter hyperspace but never examine the music in detail. Does anyone else have experience with this? if so how would you describe the music?

Yes, I sometimes hear the same kind of music but I wouldn't be able to describe it just like I sometimes wouldn't be able to describe the geometry of some landscapes I see in hyperspace.
To see the world in a grain of sand, and to see heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hands, and eternity in an hour.

I launch in silence and dim lights. I love the sound of hyperspace but it can be very different from one trip to another.

DMTripper is a fictional character therefore everything he says here must be fiction.
I mean, who really believes there is such a place as Hyperspace!!

I never use music anymore to travel with. In too many cases i found it to be too distracting and have ceased use of it for journeying.
Total focus on whats happening in the moment is where its at .

I remember one of my early deep journeys hearing electronic carnival type music. It matched the visuals of this amazing parade of carnival floats
with entities watching me from floating carpet things in the air, absolutely unforgettable .

The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.

This probably isn't what you've heard and probably does no justice to what I've heard. I heard a kind of music on DMT once. It was kind of a ping pang sound, somewhat unpredictable, that made me think loosely of this:

What I now do with music is that I'll keep it on standby so that if the experience seems like it's not really going anywhere, I can then cue the music and see how or if it can break the rut.

Somafm has a radio called space station soma which has very nice minimal ambient sounds, real hyperspace floating music with some weird radio distortions, i once heard a mix called "abandonded on mars" during a very long sub breakthrough changa journey, very alien and trippy to say at least.

But when i go infor breakthroughs i prefer silence aswell.
