Have you gave both of plants to cats? does both produce exactly the same "high"?
Do you think cats trip on these plants? (especially valerian root) or simply just get high?
To me, a cat on valerian seems like she's having an intense but short trip, like a DMT or Salvia trip. I've not seen a cat's behavior on catnip yet.

My cat goes crazy. Like it's a stimulant of some sort. Rolls around in it, eats it, then runs around like a pack of wild dogs are chasing her. Laughing When I pet her, she'll be nice for the first few, then she'll start getting all excited and biting and scratching my hand like it's a toy. I also think it's like a perfume to them. Hence why they roll in it. It would certainly attract other cats.
