First time posting out of the nursery, a brief intro of me
here for those who would like some background on the new kid in class.

Now the story begins.
New Years Day!
I spent most of the day watching Ancient Aliens, thoroughly engrossed. Now having some insight after a few journeys, I watched this show with a very different perspective. One of the shows was about the pyramids and their true function being shrouded in mystery. Previously what was spectacular theory and postulation, was somehow not so. It was a bit surreal watching the program. Instead of thinking, "wow, this could have happened," now thinking, "that happened." I felt lucky and not so much so at the same time. Like the day you "grew up" and figured out Santa Claus isn't real.
At some point, I was inspired to do my own searching about the pyramids in hyperspace. I was going to find out the answer myself.
Unfortunately, my sitter/housemate was out and the dilemma was obvious. Wait or solo? Wait or solo?
Wait.
Or Solo?
Solo.
I had enough trips under my belt and knew what to expect. I can launch off of two hits easily.
So I do all the prerequisite prep (incense, dim lighting and most importantly, start up DeBussy's Arabesque #1 on youTube, my perfect 5:05 min hyperspace timer, complete with cool CG visualization).
Sitting in my rocket chair aka reclining chair, DeBussy playing in the background, I fire up the Machine and take the first toke, holding until I sense somewhat familiar but a bit disconcerting effects begin. I exhale a huge amount of vapor thinking, "whoa, that was a big one." I take a half-hearted second hit because I know I'm about to warp and I want enough faculty to put the machine down on the table. But wait, it would be great if I restarted the music so I could enjoy the full 5:05! I quickly step out of my chair and take the one step over to my computer to restart the youTube player. I am a bit fumbly now and the mouse is a challenge to control. I start the player over. And over. And over. I get a quick glimpse of the CG animation and it looks different. The same, but real, pure, perfect. I shake this off quickly, knowing I have to get back to my chair and manage to flop back in just as I warp...
To the cubic room (again. as expected.). But this time, instead of pure white walls, they were black, and a different(?) elf was there as well tilting an object side to side as you would shake your finger to a child saying that's a no-no. They were not angry per se, but they were thoroughly unimpressed. But by what? I thought. Because I wanted the answer to some ancient secret? or that I almost botched my launch? I was at a loss, but at some point, I said "ok," and we did the same "exercises," where I make noise with my voice and these rainbow patterns swirl in and around themselves (quite entertaining). It's their "house," so I do what they want.
So no pyramid answer, I guess. Recognizing the end of the trip, I voice out the question to the dude (my name for the entity that has been in all my breakthroughs), "You will always be there, won't you?"
Then the most unexpected thing happened.
As I lay there, reclined in my chair, ever so gently my head was angled to the left, to the right, to the left, to the right, as if to answer my question, "No."
"NO?" I questioned back...
and I opened my eyes, feeling a bit confused and more that a bit disappointed.
I have spent the last few weeks trying to figure out what I did "wrong." Was it because I came in there with selfish intention, or because I unnecessarily endangered myself? or both?
I have not touched the spice since.
