What are your most purifying practices?

Include entheogens if you like, but we already have a thread about that in this subforum...

I find the most purifying practices for myself are...

Meditation - i practice self inquiry which solely focuses on the highest aspect of 'Self' thereby purifying the mind.

Fasting - rests the digestive system, can clear the body of accumalated toxins, even induce apotosis in damaged cells.

Yoga - the more intense the more purifying
Cardio workouts - running, swimming, bike riding
Cold showers

And of course selfless service, with no seeking for a thankyou or material gain.

Aside from Ayahuasca? Twisted Evil

Yoga (definitely!), hot baths, afternoons in the forest, and eating giant watermelons. Cool
Some things will come easy, some will be a test

Yeah im gonna go with fractal here, life in general Very happy

I think when one is succeeding in maintaining a reasonable balance and keeping afloat with all the incoming waves of life, self introspection (through psychedelics or otherwise), being healthy and self-development in general (overcoming obstacles and limitations), these successes leads one into a feeling of purification.

I could say that for me this right now involves generally being productive (study/work), eating well, exercising, and dealing with situations in general. At another point of my life it was also the relationship with my parter and all the learning. At another point it was yoga. And things keep being added or changed, but all in all I think it sums up with what I said above, at least for me.

I find that fasting from the onset of dawn to dusk for 29 or 30 consecutive days is arduous at the beginning but if one soldiers on, the rewards in terms of purification are clear. And it does something to the spirit which endures.
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.
