- you use your soxhlet to make vanilla extract - you use your sonicator to make 500 ml of balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing Everything mentioned herein has been deemed by our staff of expert psychiatrists to be the delusional rantings of a madman who has been treated with Thorazine who is hospitalized within the confines of our locked facility. This patient sometimes requires the application of 6 point leather restraints and electrodes at the temples to break his delusions. Therefore, take everything mentioned above with a grain of salt...

You know SWIY's been (reading about) extracting DMT for too long when.... - you start wondering about things like INMT expression. “The most important thing in illness is never to lose heart.” -Nikolai Lenin
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

You know you've been extracting too long when... You are lying in bed delirious with fever and you think 'Well, I'll probably have this flu for 3 or 4 days, so I should get up and do a quick q21q21 dry tek, do my pulls and put them somewhere to grow crystals, because being sick in bed is the only damned way I'll ever be able to leave them alone to do their magic." Welcome Home Mister_Niles. We've Been Waiting For You.

-Scraping the last spoonful of raspberry jam from the bottom of an old mason jar, you are surprised (and elated!) to find a ridge of forgotten crystals under the red goo! -The labware sites in your browser history far outnumber the porn sites!! -your socks smell of athlete's foot and D-limonene! -you are an old school photographer and accidentally develop your photos in xylene and attempt to pull spice from a basified solution with kodak d-76!! (okay, okay, that last one IS a little esoteric... ) JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

...when you walk into a corner shop in a dream and pick up a solvent to look at the label...
I say this because three nights ago I had a dream where i was in this random corner shop and i was checking all these solvent labels to see if they were ok for extracting!

The decision at the supermarket of what to drink to buy is influenced not only by the type of drink, but also by the size, shape, and type of plastic of the bottle the drink is contained in. Everything I post is made up fiction. SWIM represents a character who is not based in or on reality.

...when doing a lumbar puncture it suddenly dawns on you how the spinal tap needle would make removing the d-limo so much easier when attached to a large syringe......(and I can verify that it does!! ) I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

When you DO walk into a corner shop, and pick up solvents to look at the labels, only to walk out empty-handed because they are no good.
