Awesome stuff bro! Most I knew, a couple I didnt, but all very good Smile

I neither lived the 60s but I (as many others here im sure) can certainly relate with the struggles going on at that time and with the beautiful music and other creative impulses manifesting themselves in that decade!

Sometime I will add stuff here too.. Feel free to add more, I'll certainly appreciate Very happy

I believe this album was released in '72 but it's way too appropriate to not be listed.

Velvet Underground

Little bit of Grateful Dead

One of the best in psychedlia, Moby Grape.

WOW!! Great finds everyone! Very happy So is it just me or are there a lot of hidden gems that ended in 1969? Lots of good bands appear to disband on this year.... Surprised

Here's another find.... very good psychedelic album overall. This album was released in the 70's but still very relevant.

EDIT: btw, to post embedded youtube links like above just encase youtube with square brackets, insert the link after, then end with the same thing at the front except with a / before youtube.

Example (youtube)link_in_here(/youtube)
Except make the () into [] brackets

My favorite 60's psychedelia albums would have to be:

1. Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow
2. Jimi Hendrix - The Band of Gypsy's
3. The Beatles - Anything after Rubber Soul
4. The Doors - Strange Days
5. Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
6. The Moody Blues - Can't pick an album

There's plenty more I could list and plenty more, yet, for me to wrap my ears around.

Best Moody Blues trip album in my opinion is "In Search of the Lost Chord."

My vote goes to Procol Harum..."Shine On Brightly".
Seems like hyperspace has a special affinity for the 60's.

It definitely stands out among their other albums. Seventh Sojourn is really good too.
