It's been a while since my last visit Inside. That one scared the living bejesus out of me, so I was understandably reluctant to return. However, lately, I've been called. You know how it is ... smelling it, thinking about it, little twists in perception ... anyhow, I knew I would have to go back.

So my changa is all a bit old - took two 100mg doses of blue lotus infused herb to break through. But break through I did.

The first part, in hyperspace proper, was familiar. Purple, twisty, serpentine jimjam, with infinity teasing at the edges of perception. It was very familiar.

Yes, we're still here. Just the way you left us. Just the same.

They poked fun at me for being afraid of dying. Mock crocodile tears.

Boo hoo. they said. Boo hoo.

Next phase, the usual insecty, shards of light bit. Once again, very familiar. I thanked them humbly, as one should, and then they showed me something, which is the bit I felt compelled to share with you all.

It had to do with time.

Time, they told me, is not what we think it is. And it can be escaped. Spiritual practice like yoga or meditation, or indeed having your psyche shot out of a spice cannon, is about stopping time and entering into the eternal.

There are things we see in reality that are bound by time. And there are things that are not. Those that are in time are the things that are changing, by definition. We are the same - when we are doing, then we're in time. When we are being, and not doing, then we escape into eternity.

That was what I was told, and I humbly commend this to the house.

best wishes to you all

True although remember that you can be doing & still be aware of your eternity, like remain aware of being even while doing, it is possible, imo thats what spiritual awakening or enlightenment etc is all about, integrating our timelessness into time.

I agree deep meditation can warp ones sense of time the same way a DMT experience can. It appears to me our physical bodies are indeed bound to this sense of time though.

Glad you had a fulfilling experience after your time off.

Namaste.

Welcome back, stranger. I'm glad the return to hyperspace was cordial and hospitable. Your presence here has been missed as well.
