2) seriously? If you need your mom to talk you down from bad trips, stop tripping....like right now...and permanently. Bad DMT experiences are, for many, life changing…and usually will stop or retard DMT use for a while…if this safety isn’t happening for you, you should probably take your advice and not use DMT ever again. It is NOT FOR EVERYONE….and clearly not for you my friend.

Yes, addiction is a bitch, but DMT, really? I feel bad for those hooked on benzo’s, opiates, and alcohol..these are addictions…an addiction to DMT is like an addiction to masturbation, or food: it feels good, so let’s do it again and again….and if you have disrespected The Spice like this then it is NO WONDER you are having bad trips. It's not the DMT that is poisen, it is YOUR OWN MIND screwing you over...sorry.

I think i can relate to what you are trying to say. Every time i have picked up my spice after a long separation, the first hit is always a surprise - not something very pleasant. I look at it this way, 'its all the conditioning and ego that has accumulated over time... and the spice merely brings it out in front of you and then shreds it in pieces or like you put it - fucks it and rapes it!' that's the cleansing bro!

I am kinda confused when you say you don't believe in Morality but take no time in declaring your experience as Evil.

If you think you know addiction and that DMT is addictive, then talk to Heroin Addicts, or even Nicotine Addicts - ppl who are at the forefronts of fighting it. But then again, its how you define addiction. And in all addictions, the subject always has the will and freedom of choice - its sad that we never find out that part.

You are clearly affected by the experience, apparently in a traumatic way - so seek some help - talk to someone with similar experiences. Try and integrate what you learnt, saw, observed and experienced in your trip. And if you dont feel like doin that, then dont - just dont come in here act like a lost angry child with no attention to attitude. It'll only leave a bad taste in your mouth

Hey. Maybe DMT really did damage this guy. Maybe we can't blame joebono himself for the harm that came to him. Maybe he acted responsibly to the best of his knowledge, and he still got burned. It shouldn't be so hard to believe that such a powerful and subjective psychedelic just doesn't mesh with some minds.


Certainly the opposite of my experience however, and by the looks of it, most of the board.

Nope he didnt act responsibly. He ignored many repeated warnings both from the dmt experience itself as well as from plenty of us in the forum. He would keep having bad experiences and go bang his head on the wall again and again without dedicating to integration and taking a break off. There wasnt a single week where he wouldnt go for it no matter what happened before,how hard the experience was or what feedback others in the forum gave, and he had no integration going on at all. I remember he would even not be dedicating to his normal life and say that he was the whole week just thinking about his next trip.

I dont think dmt is harmless if you misuse it, like any other substance (including water). but what is pretty obvious to me is that dmt by itself isnt good nor bad, it just is. For several people it has served as a good tool for others not. Joebono had a bad time with it and he got the message a billion times about how it was not his thing. If he keeps banging his head on the wall after all the messages, dont blame dmt.

Also, all scientific research into psychedelics and dmt show it is not addictive. Joebono doesnt seem to diferentiate between obsession (which is not a characteristic of a substance) and physical addiction (a pharmacological process directly related to the substance), and he neither seems to realize the difference between physical addiction (to which a specific pharmacological pathway is necessary) and psychological addiction (and in this case, which is joebono's case, anybody can get addicted to anything, games, tv, food, sniffing underwear, whatever. Dont blame food or the underwear, take a look at yourself instead, joebono )

Lastly, as it has been said before, this is not the first thread that joebono comes with the exact same arguments. It would be fine if he would disagree, respectfully post his opinions and engage in meaningful conversation, but he conveniently ignores the good points that are being made and defensively responds by blindly attacking dmt and the forum members in disrespectful ways, speaking in absolutes and victimizing himself. That doesnt work here though, plenty of people can see through these unneficient tactics.
