Yeah, with LSD on the way up, I'll try smokin a bunch to intensify the experience as much as I can. When I'm peaking I feel an oral compulsion to smoke, so I do, but it never really seems to do anything at all. That's why when I know I'm taking some acid, I'll only give myself a little bit of weed to carry around and "hide" the rest from myself or I'll blow through some enormous amount without even getting high once. Also on the way down, I'll smoke to try and keep the intensity constant and high for as long as possible.
