SWIM has successfully Re-x'd twice using naptha. His query is; is it necessary to freeze percip (or evaporate) ones crystals out and scrape them up then go through the Re-x process? Or during the extraction, once the spice containing naptha is isolated and collected in a clean jar, could this naptha be heated to separate the contaminants from the spice containing naptha?
Would this produce the same/similar results as the full re-x process or is something gained by the full process?

Thanks for any help, always appreciated! Smile

The point of re-x is that you use just enough warm naphtha to dissolve most dmt and no impurities. If you have your naphtha from your pulls, the dmt and impurities are already dissolved in it, so warming it up wont make the impurities somehow separate (in fact it will make them more soluble in it)
