Well, I don't think you should do it at home, if your folks don't know about it. It's disrespectful and psychologically straining, keeping secrets like that. It's not a good state of mind to be in for anything, so it's bad mojo for your work.

Try to think of some more positive alternatives. I think the idea of doing it at a friend's house is great. Or rent out a self-storage facility where you can get some privacy, if you can find something that is reasonably safe.

As obliguhl stated above the need or desire to work with the spice and the timing are not so easily just put aside. Every time I've had the urge to undergo psychedelic transformations and denied myself or was denied the experience, it came back ten fold eventually, and made me realize that I'd needed it for a long time. It's not good to suppress these things unnecessarily because often there are waves (within and without) that we need to ride. If we miss them we might end up spending months or years of our lives stuck in a state that we should have already overcome.
However, without wanting to try to dissuade you from your endeavor, do at least consider alternatives, since your conditions seem less than optimal.

I wish you the best of luck figuring it out.
Love

I've heard that in the usa many self-storage facilities use video surveillance to check for meth labs, so it might not be the best alternative.

yeah that kind of figures... maybe there's something similar though. Just throwing out ideas. Whatever you do, shoe, make sure you're safe and responsible.

kk bad advice then. DON'T DO IT. Find a good friend that will let you do it at their place. seems like the best way to go.

There's definitely something to be said for putting items where they would make logical sense as well.

Personally what I like to do is ( since I am a college student ) I wait until big breaks, like Thanksgiving or Christmas, or in between semesters/quarters. That way my room mates ( who are aware of my psychonaught habits/hobbies ) are not in town and would never be bothered by the extraction process. I make sure that the day before they return there isn't a spec of evidence left behind and that the entire house smells pretty and looks pretty.

Ofcourse, I must stress that they are aware of what is going on, and out of pure respect I do not expose them to anything that they wish not to be exposed to.

Just my two cents.
