I have never heard much talk of this in my time on the nexus and I thought it should be brought up:
How do you all cope with the other people you live with, and your DMT extraction? Has anyone got
really lazy and really messy with their extractions, leaving lots of half-used pots and pans laying around?
after extracting and evaporating in different places around the house, just since over time things change?
SWIM's real glad he's managed to sort that mess out. He basically had dedicated a cupboard to extraction
stuff with various glass plates, beakers and loads of jars, with different experiments, different extractions
at different stages, other extractions, other experiments, collected residues from extractions for cleanup,
and things SWIM just plain
forgot what they were and reagents, of course.
When SWIM was living by his own means, He had a few flatmates who were generally
drug-friendly so SWIM could just explain that he was extracting DMT, and carry on.
There were a few complaints about
'the smell of paint stripper' and once SWIM's
freeze precipitation leaked in the fridge and contaminated all of the food. We had to
clean the fridge out and throw a lot of the oven-chips and other things like that out,
since the potato had just soaked up the taste. It takes an extremely small amount to be able to
taste and smell naptha, when mixed with food. I'm sure people would notice even one drop
if it were spilt in the freezer and left there.
This is a bit of a mystery to me. How does one evaporate a pint or so of naphtha
without being noticed?
Now SWIM lives with his parental family unit, and doesn't feel like communicating the details
of ritual shamanic DMT use, or bearing the burden of having to explain it.
He must extract in secret. And so begins the story of the
busy little robin.
The goal is to get away with a drytek, 500g of mimosa for 5g DMT using MgSO4 to
make anhydrous acetone, then making the mHRB basic with sodium carbonate.
Sodium carbonate is prepared from sodium bicarbonate by baking. MgSO4 is prepared
from epsom salts, simmelarly by baking, at 205*C.
The anhydrous acetone and sodium bicaronate will be bought tomorrow. SWIM has epsom
salts allready. Evaporating will be done in a rarely-used outhouse/cottage assisted by fan
heater, a couple of hours every (unattended) night.
SWIM will report back in a few weeks, with pictures and progress.
