Hooray! It's nothing too 'wow' as it's a laptop and hifi job that hasn't been mixed right, but it's the first time I've been able to get this far with a track for over a year now. Also I get it all done within 2 weeks, whereas my last tune took 3 months so that's a nice bit of inspiration there. Would love to hear what y'all think of it: http://www.sendspace.com/file/oj90rx

^^^ same here. I wanna hear!! JBArk edit: that second link gave me this message: There is no default application specified to open the document N4Lfe4Om.exe.part. JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

was able to get the tune from the second link just a quick listen and this is what i thought and wrote down in real-time Quote: the beginning has a nice spacy feeling with the sythn, then the bass and snapping sound comes in... grounding the listener every so often. Almost as though the sounds are trying to dominate each other. Sorta like the come up, were there is that unmistakable energy building to propel you into outer space but the person is still attached to the earth. Then at around 2:06 when the synth fades out, it feels like the person has made it through the earths atmosphere and is floating (but in a targeted, certain, almost mission oriented direction) through space. Around the 4 min mark, everything is flowing as one, earth and space merge and the dimensional voices can be heard, whispering their wisdom..... then it is quite once more
Very nice tune soulfood overall! thoroughly enjoyed it Btw synths like that always make me think of space, even though the song is presumably about how u have been feeling The Tea Party wrote:We exist in a world where the fear of Illusion is real And we cling to the past to deny and confuse the ideal DMTripper wrote:Bliss of ignorance -> pain of knowledge -> integrate -> bliss of knowledge. Second link should work fine if you click the download button on the bottom Unless a nasty pop-under tried to install a nasty on your computer The Tea Party wrote:We exist in a world where the fear of Illusion is real And we cling to the past to deny and confuse the ideal DMTripper wrote:Bliss of ignorance -> pain of knowledge -> integrate -> bliss of knowledge. I've been pretty spaced Very much greatful for the listening and the little review. It's always such a pleasure because I don't know many folk who appreciate the stuff I make so it's always good to have an audience. Cheers!

Very chill and spacey.. I dig it. If I could smoke spice on the moon, this would be my soundtrack Convert a melodic element into a rhythmic element...

I LIKES!! spacey and atmospheric - the beginning sounds like a church organ, then overlayed with fingersnaps and sweeping synth waves and little poppy wisps. I like when the distant reverby voices choral in too. And I agree with Elusivemind - there is a sort of slowly building momentum right from the start. Good job. Post some more!
