Here's a little poem I wrote a while ago. I hope you all like -

There once was a man called Dimitri
Who thought he’d try some DMT
Through the vortex he’d stray
As the elves said hooray
And the Faberge eggs were aplenty

Once under the light of the dome
His thought was, “I want to go home”
His perception of self
Was transformed by an elf
And his pants were pulled down by a gnome

“Pay attention and watch what we do”
He thought “Damn! I must be dead too”
Sung in to existance
Came jewelled gifts in the distance
The elves turned and exclaimed “deja vous!”

He began to wake at long last
The whole thing had been pretty fast
He was no longer there
Slumped in his chair
He had disappeared up the hole in his arse

that was most enjoyable... you were able to put a silly grin on my face, which is exactly what i needed right now..THANK YOU.. i was going thru my note book today and came across something i had forgotten i wrote.. so i will return the literary favor with a few of my own words....

concentrated legs dancing merrily on strands glazed by sun
suicidal leaps strategically guided to the next plateau
slowly brought to a halt by instinct

connect the dots
geometric playground, elaborate death trap
lunch is soon served
sitting patiently in the corner, waiting room of death
senses tingling...

its not as rhythmic as yours machine elf but i hope its a fitting compliment...

I enjoyed both. I liked the rapid shift of images from Treetop's and the rhythmic rhyming and McKenna imagery from MachineElf's.

Usualy not a fan of poems, but i liked this one Very happy
The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious.
It is the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science.
Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel,
is as good as dead, and his eyes are dimmed.

- Albert einstein
