I want to try some jungle.

All I have at the moment is white spirit and MEK... can it be done? Maybe a mix of the two to get the correct polarity?

Does anyone know where to find out the information on polarity of solvents at least? and what it needs to be to pull jungle?

I had another idea, but no too sure if it'd work. MEK will just mix with the basified MRHB water if I add it in. Would freezing said mix seperate them back out? The MEK will have a lower freezing point than water aye?.. so my thinking is that the MHRB solution will turn to ice and leave the saturated MEK floating on top.
I dont have a clue though, maybe once the two are mixed theres no seperating them again.

MEK mixes with water, it will screw up your extraction

can you find the msds of your 'white spirit' ? In some countries Ive seen white spirit as a mixture of hexane/heptane and xylene, so in that case it might work straight away. But maybe it can also be a mixture of different chemicals so better make sure exactly what your white spirit is

I'm not sure on the msds, it dosen't say, but I've used the white spirit to make 10x caapi extract and it worked a treat evaporating clean as a whistle.

I got it from a uk DIY store called focus, their own brand.

Can find anything on the msds of that paticular brand online anywhere either.

I guess there only one way to find out.
