if someone wanted a mellow changa blend, one where you got nice gradual effects from slow smoking, what would be a good ratio or spice to leafs?

I guess a really mellow blend could be 15% DMT. Or a really, really mellow blend would be 10%. There is no point going below that.

thats hard to say, swim could smoke my 50% changa all day and think its mellow but a mate had one hit and blasted right the fuck off. Just smoke less and you wont get so high! Lol

As justine said, make it 1:1 and add some mullein or any other easy burning herb in there. Play around with ratio till you find what is right for you.
