We shouldn't "do nothing". Military offensive action is the worst thing to do though. What we should do is spend our resources on peaceful ways of living with each other in harmony, not gross overspending on the military. Anyone that believes the wars in the middle east are just us defending ourselves needs to give their head a shake. Those wars are 100% unjustified and the west will feel the repercussions for years to come over them.
