1664- friggin sweet shot! i always said if i didnt base jump and skydive i would want to race motocycles on the tracks! my good friend in real life and the nexus idtravlr also races. i was hoping he would toss up some of his pics.

rumple- base jumping first requires a skydiving background. i tell my students to focus on their certification in skydive then come to me when they have a min of 200 jumps. thats when you can start to evaluate whether base is a good idea for them or not. its not for everyone because some dont have the reflexes and calm under fire you need to stay alive. i know it looks like your just falling off stuff but i swear its incredibly technical and a true thinking mans sport.
if you have ever caught a wine glass mid fall after you knocked it off balance this is the speed and clarity im talking about. have you ever avoided a car accident because you processes, anticipated and reacted when you know 90% of other drivers wouldnt have even thought to try. that kind of stuff. some have it most dont.

hehe thanks man, it is A LOT of fun!! The bad thing is, this is on the streets of West London, not a track Embarrased it's a quiet industrial estate though, so we aren't causing too much trouble. Skydiving is something I'd love to try. There should be a Nexus exteme sports club!

No kidding! My garden and armor modelling pale in comparison to a lot of what you guys do, although I do spend a fair bit of time traveling. Pics perhaps to come...

I realised this summer that I should spend more time playing/studying/working with my passions instead of in front of my computer or being lazy.

Anyways, these are the things that makes me who I am:

Studying consciousness, life and the universe. Philosophy and psychology, in the sense that the more I can read about the human mind and analyse the outside world, the more I think I'll know myself.

The study of mysticism, the occult and shamanism. Both because weird ideas stimulates me in terms of creativity and because I believe that man can access the source of All. Because these lectures helps me put words unto my own experiences.

Various experiments with the mind through entheogens and other substances, dreams, meditation, hypnosis and anything else available. Practical science related to entheogens is also something I'm trying to explore more these days.

Art and music in all their forms. I play didgeridoo pretty well (and love it), and listen to a shitload of varied music (glitch-hop, psytrance, IDM, free jazz, dubstep, hip-hop, doom metal, ambient, drum and bass, classical, industrial etc etc etc). I love visual arts and would like to make it my career eventually. I'd actually like to mix my passion for poetry and visionary art and make some kind of personnal psychedelic magazine or whatever...

I love reading stuff, all kind of stuff. Love surrealist or mystical stuff. Either William Burroughs or Paulo Cohelo, Lautréamont or Herman Hesse.

I also spend lots of time going to festivals, parties and electronic music events. I love to dance and am pretty good at Liquid dancing. Will eventually post a video when I'll finaly have a chance to record my dancing. I love looking at people's faces when they don't "get" what the hell is going on with my hands and the illusions I create while dancing.

Most of all, I'm in love with the word Excentricity and everything that relates to it. The only death is to stop moving, to stagnate, to conform. I want to see myself and others bloom in an infinite variety of shapes and colors.

"The joy of life consists in the exercise of one's energies, continual growth, constant change, the enjoyment of every new experience. To stop means simply to die. The eternal mistake of mankind is to set up an attainable ideal." - Aleister Crowley

Dark Matter is merely a byproduct of the Mind's imagination. Everything written on this board in his name is pure fiction. He is nothing more than an Illusion. Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

I've never been into anything extreme. Music is my main passion. I've played guitar for about 9 years now. I picked up the classical guitar this year. I have a violin, but I haven't had time to learn since classes started back up. I want to compose (clasically, that is). I've recently started studying mathematics outside of school. I also love to play chess. If anyone on here plays online, let me know.

Passing interests: Juggling, writing poetry and short stories, karate, flash animation, website design, mandolin

I dont have very complex hobbies, but Im posting some pics of what I like to do: I love traveling, exploring nature, meeting good people and different cultures, as well as playing my guitar, alone or with others.

Also can't forget them ethnobotanical friends either, its wonderful to pick/hunt, plant, take care, consume, extract, and appreciate in all sorts of different ways. Smile

Endlessness that hash picture is making me droool...

Olympus, im doing a skydive next year on holiday over a small island, supposedly when its clear in the morning you can see the entire island, its going to be my first ever jump, gonna be very interesting, im hoping to do it very early in the morning so there's no clouds.

Jnana yoga is my raison d'etre, lots of other passions come & go, and i enjoy them, but nothing can compare in my experience to Self-knowledge.

There is always the complements of relationships, friends, family, music, food, exercise, and medicines Smile

That pic was from an archaeological project I was working on in Bulgaria last year, we were looking for any archaeological remains whatsoever (although we mostly found pottery). Normally survey like that is just the preliminary step before excavation, or to find a site worth excavating, but that project was entirely based on fieldwalking in order to glean information about the distribution of the Thracians during the Iron Age. We covered about 40 square kilometres, all of it carefully recorded, and found everything from whole halves of Roman amphorae to neolithic axe heads... Something I'll be doing more of in the future! Combines work and travel nicely. No staying in fancy hotels, just roughing it in the boonies and having a great time.

We were also doing it just in time to harvest some of the local cannabis ruderalis, which wasn't all that bad. Some of the fields we walked were full of it as far as you could see...
