Hi. I have a question regarding T. bridgesii. I have read some recent posts on this forum (in the cacti section)singing the praises of bridgesii. I have also read other posts reporting T. bridgesii experiences to be "darker". What I'd like to know is this : is that correct? If true, then in what way? Am I to understand bridgesii is best avoided in favor of other species?

According to one poster bridgesii is more like peyote and pachanoi more like X

Thanks in advance. New member by the way.

Even among species, there are many different chemotypes (varying levels of chemicals). The active constituent is still mescaline, but one species may have a lot more hordenine so would provide a more stimulant experience. Another species may have a sedating compound.
And lastly, many people have trouble separating their biases from their experiences.
