How would you feel… if you were walking down the street and the government decided to strip search you then and there? And if you didn’t want to be strip searched, you would have to be felt up and fingered in an invasive pat down that almost crosses the lines into cavity search? Oh, and by the way you get exposed to radiation too. Does this sound a tad fascist perhaps?

Well, that is what we are faced with if we choose to fly at airports around the world. The TSA scanners are out there now, and more are being installed through the next year.

Please, educate yourself about this topic at this time. And take action to educate others and speak your opinion whenever you can.

I agree its total bullshit. I was in airport a month or 2 ago and saw people being forced to go through x-ray scanners.

The world is turning into a police state on so many levels.

In 26 years I have never been on a plane, driven all the way to mexico but never flown..lately I wonder if I ever will..apparently when flying to somewhere like south america, you can be forced to either get immunized when you get there or be denied access back to canada until you get them..which would definatily be a deal breaker for me, canada is sooo freaking huge id rather explore here and go check out alaska and the yukon than be force fed a needle.

I've flown three times. Twice to Florida and once to Seattle.

I've noticed that we sliding down the slippery slope to fewer civil rights. It's frightening. I have traveled my share through airports since the late 70's and it was so much easier. Now they want to blast you with back scatter x-rays and I've been reading some about terahertz wave devices being developed.

The US constitution is largely ignored by the US federal government especially the DHS which seems to hire the stooooooooooopidist Neanderthals like citizens (an insult to Neanderthal intelligence these guys are) that the United States has to trample your 4th amendment rights and outright treat you like a criminal.

I totally agree. It really makes me depressed. The US should be a symbol of freedom. But so often its been a symbol of war and violence even towards its own citizens (war on drugs etc). Comparing the ideals of the constitution with modern America is enough to make me sick.

The US security system has turned into a self serving self perpetuating monster. President Eisenhower, a 5 star WW-II general, warned us 50+ years ago about the military/industrial complex. This is no different in many ways, and it it probably worse. It plays on the fears of a largely non-thinking populace that is in a hypnotic trance from television and other mass media. I think if Hitler were alive today he would have won the war with television at his disposal.
