Can you share more please ?
I'll try explain as clear as possible... when i said psychedelics can purify the non-Self, i mean they can purify the mind/body, but they can't purify the Self (universal/higher Self)
In sober meditation i find i can easily access the Self through a practice of
Self Inquiry but psychedelics are more turbulent & about purifying the non-Self, as they can't actually purify what is already whole & eternally perfect, the Self.
I can have great universal experiences on psychedelics but they can't really compare to sober meditation where you attune your mind to the Self, as the Self isn't tripping on anything or going on journeys anywhere, its just here as formless omnipresence. This can also been seen during a psychedelic experience but it hits home much harder & integrates into your life much more when it's seen sober.
Unlike Mckenna i don't see psychedelics as 'the way' into truth, i listened to an interview with him yesterday saying how he thought psychedelics are the missing link in sadhana, but i honestly don't think thats true, sober meditation (maybe if your fortunate enough)
can take you there, or more like - leave you here

I'd still be interested in group psychedelic sessions like Nick Sand describes in those pdf's, sounds like a very supportive & beautiful environment to take DMT
