Okay so I've search the relevant areas of the forum for a statement that says which extraction tek would be best (easiest, least likely to encounter problems) for a first timer. From what I can tell its the STB. But I just want to make sure so I can study the tek a bit before the day comes.
Thankyou, sorry for bringing up a question that no doubt has been asked before.

Hmmm I know I can get naptha from a hardware shop/pool store but can you buy limonene without using the net?

Good luck. To my knowledge limonene hasn't been found to be sold in stores yet (although thats just what I've read/asked). Best bet is to order off "greenterpene"? Or something I think. I'm not sure, but a lot of cleaning products might have limonene, as well as have bunches of other chemicals. So make sure you check, and be careful! Also, if you find a product with pure limonene then please post your findings 01:13:08 ‹Ellis DEmpty› I met the people living in my head... A few suggestions: 1- Always check the FAQ before asking questions 2- Then run a search, and search relevant keywords. Results for headers with 'best tek': What is the best/easiest Extraction Tek for a 1st time n00bWhat is the easiest tek... What is the best mimosa hostilis root bark tek for time and decent yield and potencyBest tek? first timer about to use nomans tekWhat is the best DMT extraction tek in your opinion?(please dont make others do the easy job you can do yourself next time ) 3- If after the search and FAQ check you still havent found your answer and its really just a quick question, you can use the Official Extraction Help Thread (its a sticky in this subforum). This way the forum is not crammed with 'quick questions'. 4- When you make a new thread, please add the correct title to it. If you just put 'quick question', then nobody will know what its about unless they click on it. This also means if someone uses the search function for the headers "best tek", they wont find your thread because you didnt properly add the title. Think of every post you make not only as something for yourself but something that can potentially help others in the future too. (I edited the thread title now) hope this helps

1. Follow endlessness advice. 2. Read a few teks and find one that satisfies the following conditions: a) all hardware and chemicals are available b) you feel comfortable with it and understand every step. 3. Do not use all your spice-containing material for your first extraction. Run a small-scale extraction first. 4. Write down what you're doing. 5. Do not discard any byproducts before you finish the process successfully. P.S. If your naphta is of good quality, do not be afraid to use it. Do not seek the truth, just drop your opinions.

i've found that the search tool here doesn't work so well, and doesn't provide posts in an easy to navigate manner.
try this - got to google and type in whatever you are lookin for and "dmtnexus", the posts will come up and you can also click on the portion of the search results that says "more results from dmtnexus"
it will also pull up info from the dmtnexuswiki and other sites which may have pertinent info.

The reason you are not getting any direct responses is that there are too many variables: availability of materials time you want to spend equipment availability quantity you want to extract freezer space safe evapping space whether being foodsafe/enviro friendly is important to you cost of materials in your area (varies greatly) etc etc In short, there is an easiest tek for YOU, as there is for me, but it depends on a number of factors. Read the teks, take notes on equipment and materials/substances, research availability/cost, read threads regarding the differences between teks, and then choose one and dive in!! JBArk P.S. and listen to endlessness and trickster's advice! JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

Lazyman's tek is pretty easy... But in all honesty they are all pretty much the same... just different ways to do the same thing. My advice would be to understand the full process, then follow the other teks while making your own (although I was never one to follow someone, always trying to make my own path) and you'll find the process to be easy, and you'll understand it better than simply reading and following directions, IMO/IME. 01:13:08 ‹Ellis DEmpty› I met the people living in my head...
