Hey guys, so SWIM said his FOAF tried again and did a freeze precip after:
shredding AMB to small pieces and dust, putting 600 ml water w/100g caustic soda, shook well till disolved, added 100g shredded bark/dust and shook violently.
75ml naptha was added, shook violently also and left to sit until separated with no bubbles, this was all done with heat from the reaction of the said tek components.
This was then pulled, placed into a shallow bowl where ~50% was fan evapped and then placed in the freezer.
The FOAF discovered this by morning:
the photos he took were pretty bad, as seen but you can somewhat make that there a lot of crystal like growths all around the bowl as well as a few floaters.
Are these what that guy wants or perhaps somthing else.
Update:
it would appear that the crystals that grew were ice crystals. The water type. Fail.
