Yes I've seen similar things. It doesn't "mean" anything. The brain just interprets things differently on psychedelics. It seems "alien" because you aren't used to seeing things that way. A lot of people say they see alien language. And guess what... none of them know what the language means. Some people prescribe their own meaning on to whatever they see, but there's no objective meaning. That's my opinion anyway. You can believe otherwise if you want, I guess.

I've seen the "alien" writing on DMT and 5-meo a number of times. It's doubtful that it actually means anything but it's cool to think that it might.
My mind craves nectar day and night.
Like a blue lotus floating on the sea of love.
Lingering in ashantic realms
Lingering in the akashic realms
Lingering in, lingering in the realms.
Blue lotus floats, floating, floating..
Some laugh, some weep, some dance for joy.
My mind craves nectar day and night.

I felt this on my first experience; I attributed it to feedforward processing. Our brain has been entrained to decipher meaningful texts and images (you're doing it right now!) and when excess DMT makes it into one's system then the feedforward machinery sometimes sends a signal that it saw some meaningful text, even if the machinery didn't actually detect any text.

Basically, it's just your imagination detecting patterns in the stream of sensory data flowing through your brain.

Decipher the cymatic patterns and you will have yourself a new language to explore

I would go do a search for "Cymatics" and watch some videos before you make stupid comments like that.

stevowitz. your clearly misreading my words. i enjoy cymatics very much. i was having a great conversation today with a friend about cymatics and the possibilities of 3 dimensional letters opposed to our 2 dimensional language. so i wanted his thoughts on the idea. whats your problem?

i dont know why you are calling my question a comment and why are you calling it stupid? wtf is with this place lately?

I came across alien hyrogyphics before, once on a heavy mushroom trip but they were very egyptian in style, on DMT they did seem very alienesque, as in not from planet earth. I also heard a strange alien mantra of some sort, intuitively i sensed it as a 'mind manifesting matter' mantra.

hey thanks for the input you guys... i definitely feel as as if i manifested these images from deep within as if they where encoded in my dna , some sort of ancient knowledge ,maybe of the very construct of this reality or the key to universe itself . it really felt important to that magnitude. then again that could be completely wrong. but my intuition tells me different and if i cant trust that then i have noting else to go on.

I love the idea! As I've posted elsewhere, I once seemed to communicate with a being that spoke in shapes which reminded me of stellated platonic solids, and morphing from one shape to another conveyed meaning.

communication and language for us is an instinct. It's not surprising that we are prone to see words everywhere, even if they are incomprehensible for us. The same goes I think for faces.
But I don't see why we shouldn't have 3d words - I guess it's just a little impractical to write them out... But if we could use a decent computer-mind interface ... who knows what the future of our language will be like Very happy

good thoughts enoon,Very happy
i dont think 3d letters and language would be useful in the 3rd dimension.i feel like were not advanced enough yet for our current writing system to be holding us back.

edited- i moved the rest of my post to its own topic in science. it was just too long and slightly hi jacking.

What a fantastically ridiculous predicment I find myself in trying to convey anything of this nature!
One could say that all words move through spacetime that way, because they are specifically shaped sounds which move in all directions
and that it is us, The Observer, who applies these "dimensions" to sensory data;

such as hearing, seeing in 2D like sheet music, or the 3 dimensional vortex-like cymatic signature that overlay each other and ultimately form the universe.
The more layers you focus on the more complex and detailed it gets.

In the future humans will have mapped the cymatic signatures of every audible frequency and uploaded them into a program that reads it automatically and converts it into a visualization as you yap. This can be done with a human body and mind as well but I would put money on the fact that it never has.

Some human beings, especially musician types who've had exposure to psychedelic drugs, seem to be able to permanently bridge the gap between sight and sound and always have to ability to focus on what sound looks like.
The book "Musicophelia" goes into this in detail minus the psychedelia.

So.
Are these Symbols that many of us See just our minds way of interpreting other spectrums of frequencies visually?
Or is it some kind of weird code hidden inside of us ? Or being broadcasted to us? [That just seems so silly!]

O, mysterious moments.
Awakening to this,
Wondering

what a wonderful idea house! you have left me with new things to ponder upon. thank youVery happy
edit* this seems like it would be the perfect transitioning of our language to a higher dimension...to a Visual Language like Mckenna envisioned.

Cool. I have never heard of cymatics before. Interesting how they are so similar to what we see on dmt, and also people on dmt report phenomenoon regarding frequencies and pitch. Perhaps there is some sort of "language" afterall, though not a language in the typical sense.

hahaha, was drawing 3d letters in class today. figures I'd find a thread about it tonight Razz

As to the OP, Alien Hieroglyphs YES! first time lucy: about to enter a Vortex, stumbling into buddy's house with couch and noticed the stucco outside his door was covered with words, but written with letters ranging from slightly altered English letters to what I might describe now as Tibetan-Pictogram hybrids. Alien Hieroglyphs would also be quite apt.

Couldn't read any of it and my buddy said something like "yes yes that's all fine but we need to get inside". once on the couch, saw some symbols inside on the walls which I tracked down after a few months of searching as Solomon's Seal derivations, followed by a series of mandalas which opened up and showed me the vortex which I promptly entered. [stories ensue]

but yes, if you're interested in these Hieroglyphs I'd encourage you to check out Tibetan and the various artists actively producing the language creatively. Seen similar letters in hyperspace, but it happens so fast. Luke Brown (artist) has some good images with things similar to these letters, maybe looking like a tip of the right iceberg.

But who knows, alien to you and alien to me could be alien to each other anyway. It would be so nice if they were the same, every good rabbit hole is littered with candy.

Great Topic ~ This drawing is my take on the Alien Hieroglyphs ~ I cant remember them in any detail, But I also cant ever forget them.

In my own experience , it felt as if there was important information there that I was given on a subconscious level.

Obviously everything the Shaman says is Hyperspace Hyperbole

I'm curious to know what kind of additional information you think could be imparted using 3D words/letters that would be unattainable from its practical 2D counterpart.
